I damn near lifted myself off the ground trying to draw from it the first time; but once I got the muscle memory, it was second nature... from "I need my gun!" to "pew pew" in 1.2 seconds...

I had a SERPA paddle holster for a long time... it got banned from the state training center because too many people triggered the lock with their index finger and kept it pressed down when they drew, and it went into the trigger guard and they shot themselves in the ass on the range.

...I do have to say, when I've been around people wearing shit like that (or open carry); in my mind I went through scenarios on how to take them down if it came to that. Instant "threat" flag in my brain.
