Tonight was only the 2nd time we've ever seen a play at The Broadway Theater. The 1st time we were there, we saw "Miss Saigon" (starring Lea Salonga!) in 1991. No helicopter hovered over the stage this time 😉

@nasas Literally minutes after we removed the barricades to let cars back onto the street, the sidewalks were overfilled with people walking. Bumping into each other, getting into each others' way. It was so much better when people could simply walk in the street.

Neighbors for A Safer Austin Street is hosting a pop-up Open Street on Austin Street in Forest Hills, Queens on Sunday, September 14th from 11am to 4pm. This one-time event will convert the block on Austin Street, from 71st Ave to 71st Rd, into a temporary plaza with seats, tables and events!

New Mexico's economy is a fraction of the size of New York City's.

If they can enact universal childcare — and relieve working families of a crushing cost burden — surely we can too.

It's just a question of political will.

New Mexico will be the first state to make child care free

The program, which is expected to save families $12,000 per child annually, is available to all residents regardless of income.
