Really valuable read for all. I cannot stress how important it is for more recognition & training on autism in girls. It is still going unnoticed, leaving many girls alone, suffering & failing to thrive unnecessarily

Uh oh. Microsoft launched a new "Speaker Progress" feature in Teams for Education which will track eye contact, police language, and set normative standards for pace, pitch, and pronunciation. So far it's for presentations, not web conferencing.

A Microsoft Teams "Speaker Progress" report with sections on "Delivery," "Content," and "Audience engagement." The report includes metrics like words per minute, filler words, non-inclusive language, repetitive language, eye contact, and distance from camera. On the right, there is feedback for a student named Al Fredrickson, praising their pitch and body language, with a score of 50/50.

Many schools are invested in one-to-one instructional coaching, which is highly effective. Is this scalable or is an approach of reciprocal, teams based coaching more effective?
