Familiar is a webcomic about an overworked spellbook editor who summons the first familiar New York City has seen in over 50 years. After getting to know each other better and finding out that his magical specialty is soft domination, she agrees to sign a contract with him. Together, they explore life, relationships, BDSM, sex, and finding purpose by reconnecting with magic. IS THERE A PLOT? Yes. Familiar is a character-driven webcomic with a sequential, cohesive plot. It has a core cast of four main characters. IS IT EXPLICIT? also yes. Sex is integral to the plot and the sex scenes are explicit, extended, and detailed. Familiar is sexually explicit and intended for adult audiences only. You can expect:explicit erotica The plot of Familiar revolves around sex and BDSM. It shows in detail things like: nudity, arousal, penetration, masturbation, kink play, orgasms, etc. queer & ENM sex The main four characters of Familiar are all queer and practice ethical non-monogamy in an informed, consenting, and closed group. bdsm Familiar primarily focuses on the dominance, submission, and bondage aspects of BDSM, though there are some chapters with other themes such as impact play and body worship. “sOFT DOM” style The two dominant characters in Familiar are both “soft” dom/mes, and use a “building up” style of dominance during scenes (rather than a “breaking down” style).
