Yes, Fred Bear, ASIO and Defence are our very expensive untouchables. We need a forensic analysis of their performance and the extent to which they rely on 'foreign actors'.
The MSM has been very quite about the failure of ASIO in this matter . Then when the intelligence services are caught out they do a performative operation for the media and their intel appears to be wrong with all their targets released without charges . 🤷🤷🤷
"What is the point of intelligence that can identify environmental protesters but cannot link a cache of guns to a known extremist connection?"

Gorgon CCS development will bury less than 3% of the total emissions that result from the development if those released after the LNG is shipped and burned overseas are included. “It underlines that CCS should be in no way treated as a climate solution,” he says.

Not just in the current situation but it's increasing use politically that limits governments making unpopular decisions, or in national interest, because it could be weaponised to capture votes is socially, economically & environmentally corrosive.

USDA regenerative ag proposal, fears of rigid thinking:
"Federal programs tend to reward scale, paperwork fluency, and existing infrastructure — not the edge-of-system thinkers who pioneered regenerative agriculture in the first place."

In how many ways is Trump reverting the US to the dark ages?
Our investigation showed that levels of benzene, a cancer-causing gas, were 37x higher than what the facility reported in the past.

The Trump admin has halted efforts to monitor for benzene near large industrial plants like this one, leaving communities in the dark about the air they breathe. (2/2)
Air Pollution From Industrial Facilities Is Far Worse Than Estimated
The Trump administration has put a stop to EPA rules that would have required more than 130 industrial facilities to install air monitors to measure pollution. Millions of people living near these…

Strange approach - abolish net zero and wave the anti-immigration flag! We're Trump too?
Those around Sussan Ley seem confident her fragile leadership can survive into next year. But some in the party look to Andrew Hastie as the future.
