Keith Maillard is the author of fifteen novels, a book of poetry, and two of creative non-fiction. He teaches in the UBC's School of Creative Writing and is the 2024 winner of the Lieutenant Governor's Award for Literary Excellence in British Columbia.

It's been over a dozen years but every now and then I think about how my 11th grade English teacher told me I couldn't submit my short story for an assignment cause the story took place over like 6 months. She said short stories can only take place in a short period of time, like a few hours.

Checking with hive mind . Has anyone dealt with Premium Ejuice of Vaughan, Ontario? I think I've been scammed. Placed an order on Aug 22. Received acknowledgement saying, to check your shippment, click the link below. I click and nothing happens. I'm blocked from printing their invoice. No shipment.

There’s massive and increasing gender based violence against women. Preparing women, telling them the reality, and showing them statistics isn’t sexism. It’s fact that men are the main perpetrators of violence and not by a small percentage.
