Still hoping to move a painting or two. Nashville is a disaster zone and while I’m back in my home with power, I’ve lost almost a week of work. I put my kid and her grandparents in a hotel for 2 nights since they’re still without power, and I desperately need to catch up on work. TY 🙏🏻❤️🔥

My power was restored today! I’m so relieved to be back home with my cats, and they’re very happy to be warm!
This week has been really scary. I never imagined “exploding ice trees” being on my 2026 bingo card, but climate change is here and very fucking real.

Ok, it’s day 4 without power in freezing temps and almost everyone I know is struggling. Not everyone can afford a generator or stay in hotels. I’m incredibly lucky to have a place for me & my kid for now but there’s no word on when power will be restored and I gotta start thinking long term.

Still no power in my neighborhood- coming up on 3 days. It’s 32 degrees in my home. Me and the kiddo are safe and warm staying at my partner’s house though! I really hope the power is restored tomorrow… I know Nashville is really struggling with the cold. 🥶

The trees are popping intermittently and huge branches are taking out powerlines. A massive branch 3x the length of a car just landed feet from my bedroom taking out a power line with it. It’s really eerie out there. Blue flashes, huge cracks and pops, and complete quiet otherwise. Stay safe y’all.

Use things you already have to display your themed pin/brooch/patch/trinkets with foam core and old frames! Just remove the glass, replace with the foam (optional: cover with scrap fabric or paper), and pin away!
