Something I’m really struggling with as an autistic parent to an autistic kid is trying to keep regulated when she’s dysregulated. It’s just so hard to be present for her needs when one of her meltdowns trigger a near-shutdown in myself. I’m self-regulating now but I know my body will pay later. 😮💨

I went to college to become an art teacher but I fell so hard for painting, I changed majors. My work was more illustrative than fine art & looked down upon by professors since illustration is “selling out.” I vehemently disagreed, which inspired to find a way to do both fine art AND illustration.

i think if you want to have those disgusting LED headlights on your car, you should have to do a test where they blast you point blank with your own headlights and then you have 15 seconds to successfully complete some sort of vision-based task, and if you can't do it they push your car off a cliff

I’m terrible at emails, but I’m even worse at DMs. I’m constantly missing things. I go cross-eyed if I see more than 3 things that need my attention. A hack that’s been helping is to go to a cafe, enjoy a treat, and answer the damn emails. 2-3 times per week. 🥲
Anyway, it’s finally hat weather!
