I've seen the same Graham Linehan post a dozen times this morning now, and it's upsetting me.

All I have to say about the boymode thing is that I never understood how the feck anyone in Blackadder II mistook Kate for "Bob", and I still don't.

You wouldn't want to mix those swords up.

"How'd you lose that fight, Mercurius?"

"Accidentally stabbed the evil man with my demon killing sword."
Companions of Christmas: MERCURIUS ABU-SIFIN

Today (November 25) is the feast day of this Scythian-Romano soldier saint, who wields two swords: one with which to fight evil men, the other, given to him by the Archangel Michael, with which to fight demons, evil spirits, and monsters. 1/

My little sister had a Talking Teddy Ruxpin back in the 90s.

When the batteries got low it used to randomly start talking, but groaning it in a low pitched voice, in the middle of the fucking night, and scare the shit out of us.

It also picked up emergency services radio broadcasts on road trips.
One son got gifted a Rockin’ Elmo toy that was possessed and would wake up at odd hours saying “JAM WITH ELMO!” until 1 night my wife took it out back and smashed it against a tree until there was nothing left

I will say, if you can't even remember you have a child in the back you're probably not fit to be driving *at all* - but of course this isn't about improving road safety.
Exclusive: Republicans plan to challenge vehicle-safety mandates, such as automatic emergency braking and alarms that remind drivers a child is in the back seat.

Republicans are questioning the value of some features, such as automatic braking and rear-seat reminders.

Sure, this isn't sinister at all, with an authoritarian government and judges who tend to rule whatever fucking way they dinner party guests suggest over wine without a jury to keep them honest...

I didn't eat or drink basically anything yesterday due to the broken tooth and extensive dental surgery, and I'm sure it's not at all worrying that I just had my first piss of today at gone 2pm, and it was the colour of gravy.

I told myself I wasn't going to get mad, but I am anyway.

There's no Ghostbusters, no Blues Brothers, no Good Morning Vietnam, no What We Do in the Shadows, no Galaxy Quest.

But Ace Ventura and Adam Sandler make the list. Get to fuck.
The movie listed at #1 is so incredibly misplaced that it calls into question the veracity of the entire list. It belongs on the list, yes, but SO MUCH further down. An absolute, credibility-wrecking flub. Boo, @variety.com! Boo!

I was convinced I was going to lose that tooth, and half of it basically disintegrated as soon as the dentist touched it, but he somehow managed to rescue it, and it has a new temporary cap on it.

My whole face is swollen right now, but he assured me it would settle down in a couple of days.
My molar that had a root canal done on it last year, and which my dentist told me last week would need repairs, has just completely split whilst I was eating.

The sun is literally the only reason there's life on this rock.

These fuckers will do anything except meaningfully reduce carbon emissions, which is the *only* thing that's going to reduce climate change.
A 25-person startup is developing technology to block the sun and turn down the planet’s thermostat.

The stakes are huge — and the company and its critics say regulations need to catch up.
