2020 enumeration began in July2020 but the date of the US Census is always 1 April for the year, regardless of when it's taken.
I was a 2020 Census Field Supervisor 'til I was fired for being disabled. It didn't impact my job, the local office was just a-holes, fired all ppl over 60 or disabled.

Emergency Medicaid spending in 2023 cost $3.8 billion — just 0.4% of total Medicaid spending.

It's not the Democrat voters, it's the voters who failed to show up.
Democrats didn't vote for Trump.
Non-voters failed to see the seriousness of the 2024 election.
The Democrats are trying to protect health insurance for MAGA as much as for Democrats & non-voters. Someone needs to have THEIR backs

Do they have the power to make changes to web pages over which they don't have leadership authority?

I understand they haven't done much to tone down the rhetoric, and that's on them for sure - though Crockett, Raskin, and a few others do try.

But the 20th century saw our system go limp overall.

They don't embarrass me, I'm not in there. I believe most of the world understands these children only speak for themselves.

But they're writing checks the rest of us have to pay as Americans. 😡

My theory is that the conservatives are still butt-hurt over that war.
If you look at the continuation of their domestic policies since the end of Reconstruction, this is their sustained effort to try to turn that loss into an ultimate win.
Remember, 1860s Democrats = 2020s Republicans.

Instead of standing up for their 1st Amendment rights & those of all Americans (especially people & institutions who aren't as wealthy), Disney bends over to kiss the ring of an authoritarian wannabe dictator, emboldening his antidemocratic agenda.

IDK why humans feel it's ok to warehouse other species, or make domestic animals homeless.
We're terrible stewards of this planet.
We're horrible towards anyone we deem weaker than us.
We only think of ourselves.
The planet's resources should be used for the betterment of all who call it home.
