Community development worker / busy body. Though here I will talk a lot about my 4yo & baby. Views entirely personal and occasionally a bit hot-headed - don’t quote me. Late diagnosed autistic. (She/they)

Adding butter beans to the shopping list! I might go for fried tomatoes on toast 🍅
No cheese today and a very fussy baby post-jabs👎
I’m making a bib for my daughter from my son’s old t-shirt that got ripped at nursery. Imperfect and unfinished for today, but I am really enjoying the 15 mins switch off for sewing after the kids are asleep and the house has been reset.
At the sewing table, an unfinished craft project lays on a cutting mat. It’s a baby’s bib, with a tomato pattern.
Cannot wait to catch up tomorrow 🤩
Ta-da! Erin posing like they own the joint 😆
Shop front, with postbox facing into the shop. The sign is teal and says The Old Post Office Coworking Space. A person stands in the doorway, proud.

Anyway I had a KIT day today but hilariously (argh) my email address / computer login was suspended because I hadn’t logged in in three months. No shit! 😆
I need to go to sleep but I have so many things I want to google.
Everyday: Is this joke bad or is it my autism?
Oh no. Am I supposed to do that? I know I’m supposed to oil my chopping board and I have (and will) never. I just hope for the best (in everything).

Sleeping on the job 👶

I have a keeping in touch (KIT) day today and I hope that my coffee is still in my secret hidden place in the kitchen 👀
Three wake ups already by the nearly 5yo (night terror, then too hot, then too cold) and one wake up by the baby (standard baby behaviour). Bracing ourselves for a sleepless night - and I’m at work tomorrow for a KIT day 😅
While the kids are asleep (miracle), Phil’s out at a community meeting and I’ve sewn a Batman crown 👑
Fabric crown with a Batman pattern, on a sewing cutting mat, baby monitor is half in the picture, and a printer is half in the picture too.

Welcoming a new hobby into our home courtesy the Woolfs! Thanks @max.woolf.io, I promise to look after it (and use it!)
34 years of hard use, a few coffee spills and 7 exams later, it’s time to say goodbye to this lovely piano. (New one on the way…)

I’ll miss you buddy 😢
That’s great to hear! It must have been marked as urgent.
Reported this fallen sign on Friday and it’s been fixed today 😁 (high five to FixMyStreet.com) it was at eye level and it wouldn’t have been long before someone walked into it.
