Ah now that makes sense, the refs really help show how the portraits fit into the dialogue setup. Also it sounds like you’re still shaping things a bit and I’d love to talk more about what you’re aiming for and how I could help.
Btw are you planning to keep the portraits in that same framing style?

Got it and thanks for clarifying! Since they’ll be in black and white so would you prefer clean linework with shading or something more painterly or textured? And will these be headshots only or slightly more bust up compositions?

Ahh I’m so glad you like it! You could even have a few mushrooms gently pulsing or shifting colors near the campfire like they’re reacting to the warmth or magic in the air hehe. It’d make the whole scene feel alive and extra cozy too ^_^

Yoo!!! What if you threw in some glowing mushrooms at the tree base? They’d give off a soft glow without stealing focus from the campfire. It'd look cool against the dark woods too hehe
