Amendment thought: Senators serve a single 18 year term, Representatives serve a single 6 year term. States can remove either via a 2/3rds vote of “No Confidence”. That would remove all re-election corruption and focus them on serving their constituents.

I seem to recall over that whenever a presidency is in trouble the play book says “Start a war”. It’s generally a last ditch effort with comments like “However we got here, we need to support our troops.”

@jimacosta.bsky.social I was under the impression that a “Special Government Employee” was limited to 130 days, which is where we are at. Elon isn’t “backing out”, he is just out of time.

Isn’t that called Universal Income, where you get a base income sufficient to prevent starvation after which you choose to work for a better life or obtain education for a future life or take some time off to recharge?

My plan: 1) Buy a cattle farm in the middle of nowhere. 2) Build 200 year house. 3) Live off of lifetime of savings, social security, and a pension. All three accomplished.

But ex got 2/3rds of savings and half the pension and apparently bought and built in a red state.

Maybe Costa Rica?
