Amendment thought: Senators serve a single 18 year term, Representatives serve a single 6 year term. States can remove either via a 2/3rds vote of “No Confidence”. That would remove all re-election corruption and focus them on serving their constituents.

I seem to recall over that whenever a presidency is in trouble the play book says “Start a war”. It’s generally a last ditch effort with comments like “However we got here, we need to support our troops.”

@jimacosta.bsky.social I was under the impression that a “Special Government Employee” was limited to 130 days, which is where we are at. Elon isn’t “backing out”, he is just out of time.

I’ve been publicly agnostic for over 40 years. Recently a childhood christian song we sang in grade school keeps circling in my head. I think I remember it in part because it was anti-raciest well before civil rights was passed. Yeah, I’m old. Any suggestions on how to get it out of my head?
