Hello, new (and old) followers!

I realise I’ve not spammed Bluesky about this as much as I have some other places, so…

My feature film Secrets of a Wallaby Boy is now available to buy or rent on Amazon in the UK and US!

Here's the UK link:

It all started going downhill when they didn't let Tom Baker have a talking cabbage as a companion.
Tell me your most unhinged Doctor Who opinion. I mean, if you’re a fan, they’re likely all unhinged anyway.
Oh hell yeah
Play the game or the game plays you. Watch the New Trailer for The #RunningManMovie – Only in theatres November 14
Sorry, I may have ruined it for you so now you can't watch that character's scenes without thinking how much better it could have been.
I love BR2049, but it makes me so sad that Villeneuve wanted David Bowie in that role, and when Bowie died, made the worst casting pivot imaginable.
The one good thing about the Tory conference being in town is that they pedestrianise a lot of the city centre. Apparently Kemi likes the radical left idea of walkable cities after all.
Manchester’s going hard on the early 2020s nostalgia at the moment, in that there are Tories everywhere and also everyone has covid.
Whereas less is for continuous variables, e.g. "I wish there were less Nazi discourse" or "I wish there were less air in this room full of Nazis".
Fewer, because Nazis are a discrete variable - you can have 2 Nazis or 3 Nazis, but not 2 and a half.
Adam Curtis is a national treasure.
Fantastic trip in the LGBTQ+ARDIS with @gallycab.bsky.social! That Anne Droid costume was magnificent.
A drag performer as the Anne Droid from Doctor Who Parting of the Ways. Various Doctor Who themed cabaret performers, with pride flags and a Palestine flag, in front of a glittery blue TARDIS.
Got the barbeque on, lads

Gary Lineker gets his biggest cheer of the night by far from the audience for saying his award was for "speaking up for those who have no voice"

We know why Gary won.

Here are some things that Charlie Kirk said in his life.

The man is dead, and so it only seems fair to share his legacy by cataloguing the values he spread while alive.

Look at this response from Polanski to Sophie Ridge's attempted gotcha on flags

To *finally* have a mainstream political voice standing up for racialised & minoritised communities being intimidated by the violent fash on our streets

It's really not that hard, is it?
Sophy Ridge @SophyRidgeSky

My conversation with new Green Leader Zack Polanski about the St George's Cross:

Zack Polanski: What does it mean to me? Wel, I think it depends on the context. So during an England football game, 1'Il paint my face in a Saint George's Cross quite happily. At another time though, where we don't nave a football tournament, I think it's quite imported from America this idea that we wave flags outside our house. If people want to do that then think that's up to them.

But I think at times of heightened tensions, I would say patriotism is actually about loving your neighbour, whether they're from this country or not. Patriotism is about building cohesive communities. I'm really proud today to be an elected Jewish leader of the Green Party. My deputy leader is a Muslim man. I think that's patriotism. When we recognize that antisemitism and Islamophobia are two sides of the same coin, and actually communities are so much better when we're more creative and work together in solidarity.

SR: It's interesting to listen tO what you're saying there -s so do you think that flying a St George's Cross outside your house at a time, as you put it, of heightened tension could be intimidating for some communities?

Zack Polanski: I think people can experience as intimidation. And I think if those communities are intimidated, again the patriotic thing to do would be to have those conversations with your neighbours, have those conversations with the communities.
