There are RULES for gov’t documents—who has them, sees them, keeps them, where they’re kept—because they’re a record of gov’t business.

Not open to all—but containing the doings & ACCOUNTABILITY of what our gov’t does.

The Nat’l Archives stores much of that vital data.

👏 The question is: how do we ensure AI remains a tool for learning rather than a crutch? 👏

The first step is recognizing the power AI can contain for teachers and students, the second recognizing the drawbacks, and third, finding a way forward.

Flat out bans will never work.

What these nihilistic vandals are doing to dismantle science & medicine—generations of expertise & public service & life improving benefits—is cultural revolution level national self harm. No foreign foe could inflict such brutal damage & senseless suffering on US so fast & effectively & unresisted.
