When you know the inspiration behind it I think it's safe to say that Halloween Parade by Lou Reed is one of the most truly heartbreaking songs. New York is an incredible record.

In Polvo I hear ideas and riffs I made up but discarded as too weird. They make it work somehow as something caught between off the cuff and tightly composed.

Hey, does your kid love Stranger Things? If so I suggest letting them read Paper Girls, a graphic novel by Brian K Vaughan. It has that same science fiction kids on bikes time travel vibe and is very good. Kids need books.
