It won't ever be successful in the long run. By descriminating on race, they are making it a more ineffective news team. More and more people will tune out in favor of other news that is more honest and effective
This was just posted by a CBS News producer on their Instagram stories.
🇺🇸 It’s disappointing to see how far behind the U.S. presidency feels compared to other major nations. While others push forward with vision and purpose, we’re stuck in reactive mode.. losing momentum and credibility. We deserve stronger, forward-thinking leadership
I flew from Saint Louis to London, and hit the ground by heading straight to the Frieze Art Fair, where I met Sharon (who has been with me for over a decade), her adorably outgoing Aria, and her eternally youthful goddess mom, Theresa..
It was an amazing weekend at the AMFAR Gala!..

This year, the party was hosted at a private estate known as Casa Bendita. The ocean views were breathtaking!
Thank you,YAFA signed jewels and Chris Del Gatto for the Bulgari necklace and the sparkling diamond 💍 ring!
#amfar #gala #palmbeach #paolapivi
The Island of Goree is more colorful than I could have ever imagined. The main landmark, with respect to the Atlantic slave trade, was a cinnamon toned, post French colonial house with a distinctive horse shoe shaped staircase.
Thank you kernel for an unforgettable tour and inviting us into your home
Is it just me, or has modern Christianity in America started looking more like a lifestyle subscription than a spiritual journey?..
Where’s the raw grace, the radical love, the messy humanity Christ actually preached?
Last Thursday,I spent the entire day at #Yale, first meeting with the Director of the YUAG #yaleartgallery.

While I go back to Yale with some regularity,it has been a long time since I have been in the rotunda, a space which is at once old,and sparkling new ✨❤️

Wild how ‘law & order’ always seems to have an asterisk next to it.. unless it’s our guy doing the crimes. The hypocrisy is Olympic-level at this point 💔

Example #4,569,007 Why "Pro-Life" and "Law & Order" Republicans Are Neither Pro-Life Nor Law & Order:

They are supporting a president who murders innocent fishermen in international waters just for kicks.
Wild how ‘law & order’ always seems to have an asterisk next to it.. unless it’s our guy doing the crimes. The hypocrisy is Olympic-level at this point 💔
Only in 2024 could a would-be theocracy meet frat-house energy. Policy?...
Nah.. just presidential matchmaking at Mar-a-Lago.

You couldn’t script this level of absurdity if you tried
So, per reporting from Zeteo’s Asawin Suebsaeng, in today’s new ‘First Draft’ newsletter, Trump tried to get a newly-divorced Russ Vought, Project 2025 architect & now budget chief, laid at Mar-a-Lago.

The details are, ahem, as crude as you’d expect from Trump.

Here with the legendary El Anatsui...
Celebrated as a wizard of transformation, the Ghanaian born sculpture has lived most of his professional life in Nigeria. How lucky for Ghana and for us that has come back home..
Sharing this memory with El was very special. So was sharing his new studio 🥰💕💕🥂
If happiness had a day of the week, it’d be this one..💕🥰🥰
Spot on analysis.. it’s never about loyalty, just optics. If there’s a win to claim, he’s front and center; if there’s a loss coming, suddenly it’s ‘never heard of them.’

Classic self-preservation politics💔
The reason why Trump won't endorse Winsome Earle-Sears in the VA governor's race is pretty simple - he knows she's going to lose.

If he thought she was going to win, he would endorse so he can take credit for it.

Like he always does.
Wild how the plot keeps twisting, but the script stays the same.. accountability always seems to vanish right when the credits should roll
Trump solved his problem of having to present actual proof that the people they have been murdering on boats are narco terrorists by letting the two witness survivors of the last attack go home.

As one does with narco terrorists.
RECAP.. A family affair, that's how I would characterize The Whitney Gala honoring Amy Sherald (and #barbara.haskell). I ran into so many dear friends, including one whom I studied art history at Yale, and who is now a curator at the National Gallery in DC. It was great hanging with you #jamiemeyers 💕

15 years ago the Supreme Court decided corporations are people under the First Amendment.

Today, sold-out politicians block progress on all fronts to appease their corporate donors.

Citizens United is among the worst decisions in history. It corrupts our system every day.
Fix each other's crowns 👑,and go to brunch! 👯‍♀️🥁👯‍♀️..
How did you spend your Sunday??
Absolute Chaos
The entire incident is infuriating and terrifying. She’s a Latina woman who was working a service job. On her way home late at night, with her headphones in, she was detained for an hour by masked federal agents who wouldn’t give her their names.
Chilling to even read that sentence. When truth needs ‘approval,’ democracy’s already on life support.
Major respect to the outlets refusing to play along..
👏 Absolutely needed this kind of clarity out there. Science, empathy, and honesty.. three things we can never have too much of. Thank you for saying it plainly and backing it with compassion
Some highlights.. including the opening day of frieze and the central park Conservancy Hat Luncheon - two experiences that couldn't have been more wildly divergent- but appealed to the Gemini ♊in me!!! THANKS so much CZ for an amazing first time 🌸🌺🌺🌸 #NYartweek #Terrywinters #FriezeNY
Wild how the very institutions meant to expose power ended up protecting it...
Feels less like journalism and more like stage management for the elite. Can’t wait to see what those documents reveal 👀

It's also corrosive to our society and the world. If fascist/authoritarian leaders don't get out of the way voluntarily, they almost always have to be taken down with violence.

WE DON'T WANT THAT.

We're more the "live and let live" kind of folks. But if we're left with no choice... 🤔🤫
The concentration of wealth in the hands of a few isn't just bad for our economy. It's corrosive to our democracy.

When the wealthy and well-connected control our political system, regular people don't have a voice.

The result? The demagoguery and corruption we're seeing now.
