Roddy Piper cutting a legendary promo ahead of his match with Terry Funk in MLP at Maple Leaf Gardens in 1983. Although Piper picked up the win against Funk on May 15th, he won the match by Count Out, meaning he never pinned the NWA icon in singles action throughout his career.

assumption that all notable names outside WWE will inevitably want to go "have a run" works off of increasingly dated logic. not saying no one will. but there are people who are just not going to want to work for those people even if it means they (gasp!) never have a WrestleMania match

Such a beautiful scene. A MIGHTY WIND is a very funny movie; it's also very warm. It always gets me, watching everyone put everything else aside because they are jolted by the feeling of a song they all know. Catherine O'Hara was a remarkable talent.
