There’s a GoFundMe for Jonathan Ross’s legal expenses for murdering Renee Good.

This violates GoFundMe’s Terms of Service. Everyone must report it.

A thread on how to do that 🧵

Check on the kids in your life. Check in on the queer kids especially.

Many of them, like many of us, are really not ok about Renee Good’s murder and the far right spin on it. They see it as clear as day.

Dear @nytimespr.bsky.social. Your press release re comments I gave to @transnews.network includes many errors but one assertion is true: “TNN featured an interview with a former editor on the International desk at The Times who was not involved in these coverage decisions.”

That is the problem

Maduro was a brutal repressive dictator who destroyed Venezuela. Trump did not have congressional or UN approval to engage in unilateral regime change. Trump's actions were illegal. All of those things can be true at the same time. Don't let them make this about Maduro.

People are going to try and lure you into debates about whether Maduro was a good guy or not and the thing is, it doesn’t matter for the purposes of discussing whether violent kidnappings and extrajudicial murders by the US government are ok. No, they aren’t! End of convo.

White writers get LOUD.

No lol I'm proud to be a "lefty" or "w*ke" - say we must change our government now and stop straddling sales, tie-in, and con access from the racists who don't care that you're a "lefty" as long as you're not actually standing against supremacy in any meaningful way.
White writers staying silent: I don't care if you'll lose money from the tie-in readers or get banned from cons or treated like I am. You've protected fascism for way too long. Not them. *You.*

Stop coddling racists.

Stand up.

History will judge you, but the world has been and is watching now.

I think every cis white American writer should say:

- Trump must be removed and his accomplices held accountable.

- I am going to listen about how I've tolerated racism and do my best to change.

- We need to have the conversations about whiteness and supremacy.

You must care about who will not.

TW: Domestic Abuse
Apparently, Tennessee has a new domestic abuse registry, and cis men are freaking the fuck out. As a person who has front row seats to my mother's domestic abuse? Let me tell you? This needs to be a thing in all 50 states.

Make abusers terrified.
