Well said, Justice Jackson.

Plain and simple.

Not to mention the strong Stare Decisis argument based on Humphrey's Executor v. United States (1935) and other cases.

I think I'll keep harping on this point.

The Republican version of the ACA is the ACA and it always has been.

It's a corporate-friendly, cobbled together, cumbersome piece of legislation that bends over backwards to minimize any efficiency or government involvement.

They can't replace it because it's the best they could ever do.

Corporations and ultra-rich individuals with numerous business interests cannot be trusted to prioritize the public’s right to know over their own bottom lines.

When billionaire conglomerates take control of media, it’s not a win for free speech. It’s a win for oligarchy.
If Paramount is allowed to take over Warner Bros. Discovery, the conservative billionaire Ellison family will control:

Paramount Studios
CBS
CNN
MTV
HBO
Comedy Central
Nickelodeon
Cartoon Network
Warner Bros.
DC Studios
Fandango
New Line Cinema
TNT Sports
TBS
Oracle

And more.

Neither Netflix nor the Paramount/Trump/Saudi Arabia group should own Warner Bros. Both deals are absurd - terrible for consumers and democracy.

This is a story about corruption - Trump using government power to screw consumers and gain control of the media. A red alert moment.
