That's an amazing find! Never knew about that album art before but it totally makes sense now, doesn't it?

I knew the artists always would take inspiration from other models and figures. For example - the woman on the TOTAN backglass was Stephanie Seymour, traced from a Playboy or SI photo shoot.

How do you describe a firm where all the early engineers and architects have left and what remains are younger people that happily fuck around in meetings all day but have no idea how any of the systems actually work?

I liken it to Logan's Run but that's lost on people as well because I'm an old.

Sircoma is another massive branch of history, becoming the massive IGT and worth 6 billion when they were acquired in 2015. And they were a constant thorn in Williams' side as they tried to get into gaming thanks to Ingvar Telnaes 🤣

Wow! Beautiful work!

There must be a missing link between this era of trivia/quiz games and the modern age, which got us from standalone coin-op cabinets to bartop machines. And then grey-market poker games got into the mix along the way as well?

I'm pretty sure we did have an internal chat going so we could do daily things without leaving the desk. Most importantly, arrange lunch and snacks between Half-Life deathmatches.

Well, you had fireside chats at Pinball Expo before that, but yeah it was probably one of the first online experiences.

Tom always made the line workers nervous because if he was around it meant there was a quality or service issue with production that he wanted to discuss... 🤣

I wish she would pop up on Bluesky sometime, now that she's famous and all...

Anyway, if you were a visible net-based pinball fan/critic in the 90s-00s we probably talked about you behind your back at one point in time or another, and I apologize for that. Maybe. 😘
