i've done something!!

a little over six months ago, i did a live reading of my play "A Sisters' Storm" at Two River Theater. you can watch the recording on YouTube, but i realized i could give the option to purchase a physical copy of the script!!

The rest of their WV town doesn’t quite see it like Waylon does. To them, he’s just a victim to the insanity that has infected plenty of the Sayers that came before him. But he isn’t crazy. Not when there’s at least a dozen missing people. Not in a town with a population of less than two hundred.

Waylon Sayer was a detective. When his little sister went missing and he had his ‘nervous breakdown’, as the shrink put it, he had been placed on indefinite medical leave. That doesn’t matter to Waylon, though. He must be a detective, or accept his sister is gone for good and that he can’t do.

tysm !! i didn't have the characters to mention it, but its an epistolary novel specifically (told through journal entries, police reports, newspaper articles, etc) because i've found epistolary horror to be so creepy

Something's Wrong in Devil's Gate is an epistolary novel set in the fictional town of Devil's Gate, WV and follows former detective Waylon Sayer as he tries to figure out what happened to his missing sister and accidentally uncovers more than he bargained for.
