They addressed all of these suggestions at yesterday’s council meeting. Roundabouts require a ton of land space and so they’re very hard to accommodate in the city, speed bumps don’t work for arterials and they slow down emergency vehicles. I think use them where they work but we need more tools.

This article is stupid. They should have put it into wider context. How much pollution is it, and compare it to the top polluters. Telling us it’s like 500 million cars driving makes no sense. Driving for how long? What kinds of cars? They have this throwaway comment at the bottom.
