Today I was at the BBC Written Archives Centre, and For Reasons was reading a lot of early audience reaction documents for Blake's 7.

Guess what? Contemporary audiences praised the special effects. Yes, *those* special effects. 🧵

If I somehow ended up writing Batman Comics, plots i would do:
- Batman investigates attacks on his old drag mentor.
- Bruce, Damien and Dick have to take down gangsters whilst doing 3 men and a baby.
- Bruce tries to run for mayor when former is shot and only other candidate is dangerous but fails.

What's the *best* ending to a show you've ever seen? Quote/reply etc

I know I shouldn't be surprised but I always am by the fact that:
95% Women/Queer Youtubers: Ringlight, proper mic, makeup, carefully chosen costume.
95% Men Youtubers:
Dark office, dirty t-shirt, look like they ate between naps, using laptop mic, lit by computer screen.

So my 4 year old has been practicing his 7 times table with me. I am pretty sure at the age I was confused what day of the week it was.

I did a matinee at one theatre and an evening at another, that gave me two competing slices of Victoriana.

Minor grumble this morning.
The little one got given a "free cinema ticket" so took him today and let him choose.
Although it doesn't say so on the terms and conditions, they said that the film is too short so had to pay full price.

Darn it I got Whamed! So close.
I didn't expect of all things it to be in the film Carry-On.

Still not Mariah-ed though

As an aside apologies to my usual Xmas card recipients for no sending. Not been in a place where I feel able to do so.

Sorry for my lack of presence. I try to not post when I am in a bad place but that has been happening more and more lately.
As tough as it is, I am keeping going.

This is a weird one but I always recall going to see Dungeons and Dragons (2000), not for the movie but then the joyful surprise of the original Lord of the Rings Teaser trailer.
Being just 13, I had no idea it was even in production:

A show I watch, recently released a great episode for me that looked like it was going to be a lore dump but ended up cleverly being an anti-lore episode, basically making you question everything you knew.
But no one seems to be talking about it which means I don't wanna be specific. Is frustrating.
