There is a serious point here that funding tends to ignore older musicians, writers, artists and is obsessed with youth. Seems unfair on those who start late in life, or have devoted years to kids, or being carers.

Literally was my modus operandi when I was making Love Is A Flame In The Dark. I didn’t compromise on what I wanted to make I just trusted my ears and my heart. 🖤
Why do you feel the need to attempt to placate and impress your scene at the expense of your own enthusiasm? Why aren’t you making the art you want to make? If you aren’t personally stoked about your shit why would anybody else be? It starts with you. Do what makes you happy right fucking now.
