its an only up style game but designed for everyone to enjoy with a lot of quality of life to make it rage inducing but still rewarding to do well in, I've been quite enjoying it.

which is suuuuuper funny because he nerfed the luck he also nerfed the XP tome in the hope it would be less mandatory in reality is EXACTLY as mandatory but now you just need even more of it doing exactly the opposite of what he aimed for.

also clearly the dev noticed at some point in designing that it was too easy to get health and shields so he mostly made them useless (even 1000+ eHP will vanish in a second if you get caught) which pigeon holes you into pure damage or proc on hit builds (and he just nerfed the latter)

and don't even get me started on perfect builds, even Diablo has better balancing then this (only barely, what are they fucking doing in that game?) I'd wager over 60% of the stuff in the game is bad, which would not be so bad if the gulf between them was not the Gulf of Mexico sized.

I have a extreme love hate relationship with Megabonk because it's both super fun and super rough, like at any moment weird shit that you have to be practically a god to react to can happen and you just die even with a perfect build.

game is Curiosity by Grandpoobear and iNightGaming featuring a bunch of other youtubers, it is park of the rage climbing genre... it is also very cute. store.steampowered.com/app/2984970/...

the view past the back of a cats head shows atree and then floating rocks with houses and other buildings and etc on them in the middle of the air like a giant puzzle, there is even a random statue.

#1 is interesting because I had been told Bluesky allowed hostile migration but I now hear there was some issues relating to that so I am curious how that all works.

as if to prove the issue I finally got a good run where they were not impossible to find and did both in one run.

and EVERY SINGLE TIME I get a good build finally going the boss and bandit are seemingly not on the map, probably hiding in some stupid corner but it's incredibly demotivating to finally get some momentum and be unable to find anything.

The first stage in Megabonk was quite fun and the second stage is misserable, it feels so much harder to get a run together before it throws something stupid at you.

after he kept going on and acting like maybe the AI would get better later I gave up deleted the thread and am now calling that a miss, it seemed like his point started out good but then he undermined himself and wasted resources and my time.

I want to make it clearer that I am not bothered by this, it's the nature of this game to have the endgame be this way and I accepted that long ago, I just enjoy the show.

I do not like the new fight in Monster Hunter Wilds it is just a bit too chaotic for my taste but I do not think it's a bad thing, I feel like a large part of the fanbase will love it.
