Remakes are detrimental to the efforts of preservation. They seldom appeal people to the original, they further enable people partaking in the misguided "old stuff is bad, actually" mindset, and I just don't think that "well, it's more like the comic" is interesting enough to justify them.

Imagine if people treated Psycho, A Fist Full Of Dollars, Deadpool, and Stalker as if they were all just Movies and self identified as being part of the Generic Movie Fandom. That's basically how people act about anime all the time.
"anime" being a sort of catch-all term leads to very funny instances where youtubers will recommend deep thought-provoking artistic pieces and "This Was Made For A 15 Year Old To Get Horny At" shows in the same breath. It feels like gassing up twin peaks and an MTV reality show at the same time

A friend asked me, "Hey, is it possible to port the demo to newgrounds?" and I said, "Idk, let me see".
So, as an experiment, the demo is now on newgrounds! With like 3 new npcs and not much else.
So give it a try if you so please.
