Considering a video doorbell. Offspring doesn’t understand my hesitancy, which is based on govt overreach and security problems. Young people have just accepted the surveillance state as unavoidable. It saddens me they don’t understand why it’s a bad thing, and worth fighting.

Nice to see the @nytimes.com has its priorities in order. No front page stories about ICE invasions or trumps corruption or dementia, but an above the fold on a very old real estate deal Hunter Biden pursued once in Romania. I lol’ed when they called it an “ethical quagmire.”

Hopefully the whole Bari Weiss thing and Ezra Klein thing starts waking people up to the fact that corporate media is mostly populated with mediocre people who have made millions and gained unbelievable influence because they threaten nothing and tell wealthy people exactly what they want to hear.
