Did you ever see Peter O’Toole playing Henry Higgins? His Higgins is a raving lunatic constantly being placated by normal people.

Genius. The whole movie.

Jeff Bezos’s wealth has increased an average of $70 million every day of 2026, meaning that he could have offset The Post’s losses with what he’s made since Monday.

Thank you to everyone in CA including the elected officials and voters who successfully accomplished mid-decade redistricting to swiftly counter the attempted theft by Texas.

Action and tangible results are so much better than gripes and strongly worded letters.

When a politician breaks their oath, like all of the participants of the January 6th insurrection, and they vote not to certify the election, they still managed to get reelected. The message they received was that it worked, and they can do it again. Read: cbwrong.blogspot.com/2026/02/ever...

Excellent question.

I suspect they don’t expect civilization to extend past their own lifespan, if that.

It’s quite sad when it’s always high noon for someone and they never depth. Everything is just flat and two dimensional.

These idiots think they can get rid of everyone who “serves” them & their purposes, & still continue to live as they have. Who’s going to wait on them & prop them up if they fire or kill all the underlings??? If we’re all gone, & the 1% are all who remain, who will they use & control? Who wins?! 🙄😡🖕🏻

Beatles

[Verse 1]
I'm so tired, I haven't slept a wink
I'm so tired, my mind is on the blink
I wonder, should I get up
And fix myself a drink?
No, no, no

[Verse 2]
I'm so tired, I don't know what to do
I'm so tired, my mind is set on you
I wonder, should I call you?
But I know what you would do…

When I tried to write, I was told to think of a specific audience, not the general population, just one person I wanted to communicate with.

I think WAPO in trying to think of their audience as everyone, has nobody in mind.

Even USA Today had an audience in mind.

The concept of a “franchise” screwed up Star Wars. Stories like that are good for only a trilogy, and not more than five total releases. When things are taken beyond that, the original storyline gets lost and a lot of movies are made that traffic on the name.

If you can make money by reducing staff, ultimately can you make even more money without any staff at all?
