if i have to live with it then you all have to live with it

yep that sums up brady in a nutshell โ€” ever sooo charming, thatโ€™s the word, yeah
February 12, 2026 at 3:01 AM
i canโ€™t listen to soup discourse anymore because all i can think about is it sloshing in @bradys.bsky.socialโ€™s belly while he ***** *** ******* **** ***********
February 12, 2026 at 2:39 AM
iโ€™m curious how you would summarize this in your own words because i donโ€™t think it contradicts what i said actually at all
February 12, 2026 at 1:49 AM
i think youโ€™re being unreasonably reactive
February 12, 2026 at 1:31 AM
yeah a little like that ๐Ÿฅต
February 12, 2026 at 1:30 AM
the fact that we wouldnโ€™t know what it sounds like is exactly why itโ€™s surprising because thereโ€™s no specific data set in existence that it could possibly train on to produce that result
February 12, 2026 at 1:30 AM
oh actually now that explains it
February 12, 2026 at 1:28 AM
to be fair this is at least partly because many of the biggest offenders on the left havenโ€™t ever migrated here and stayed on x

synthesis: day job of bus driver becomes computer
February 12, 2026 at 1:14 AM
it used to actually mean something to the public when you looked like an unaccountable baffoon and youโ€™d face professional and financial repercussions for it

now itโ€™s an expectation of the job for a third of the country who thinks facts are fake and expertise is evil

this is the longest running single-source data set on presidential approval we have

losing it or even just breaking it for a while means we can no longer easily compare these years to past years, or decades over decades, or presidents vs other presidents

standard core data for all such research

one of the most valuable features of a longstanding institution like gallup is data continuity

you canโ€™t just overlay the assumptions, hueristics, processes, influences, practices, and domain knowledge of some other company in top of theirs and say it means the same thing as their own results

my 5th grade english teacher miss lambert would have loved this and set it in amongst her large collection of stuffed pink pigs that overtook at least one full half of the place that used to be her (rather large) desk

the most successful application has been writing software.
February 12, 2026 at 12:46 AM
this is such an unprofessional thing to say to someone lol

i probably wouldnโ€™t even say that to a bf, itโ€™s so needlessly escalatory
February 12, 2026 at 12:30 AM
demonic

absolute demonic
February 12, 2026 at 12:22 AM
short
February 12, 2026 at 12:13 AM
thatโ€™s a different thing though

immigration detention is (legally speaking) not supposed to function as a legal punishment for a crime
February 12, 2026 at 12:11 AM
heโ€™s literally making fun of trump

harry enter isnโ€™t a hack or a trump apologist in any way

generalizing & the emergent behaviors that come from it to create something that has never been specifically & narrowly trained is whatโ€™s new and weird and not very well understood
February 11, 2026 at 11:53 PM
well, specifically that they *generalize* well

you could train old models to statistically understand what a cat looks like

and you could train to replicate the rhythms, patterns, & structure of poetry

but nobody expected you could ask for a sonnet as told by a cat & get something intelligible
February 11, 2026 at 11:52 PM
you know actually nevermind
