No you don't. The spirit of the hero is not tied too any bloodline hence why the only Link's who are canonically related are the hero of time and hero of twilight, every other incarnation is unrelated by blood. We also see in Ocarina of Time and Windwaker bloodline doesn't matter in sages...

Just a reminder that in BOTW both the Rito champions are just ransom Rito.
All the other past champions where royals or destined for greatness, Ravioli was just a normal Rito trying to proove himself
All the modern champions are their descendants, except Teba who's another just normal Rito
