the biggest plague are books that are being made into a show/movie. I don't want the movie poster on there, or a big sticker that says "NOW AN HBO MAX SERIES". I want a cool ass cover like normal.
These days every single book instead of a nicely illustrated cover just has the title with ENORMOUS font covering the whole thing so they don't have to deal with having a real image lmao, its so funny when you start noticing the trend but also sad.
I have said before and will say again that it is such a loss that we no longer get covers of this caliber for fantasy books.
