Feels like this article should mention the fact that fossil fuels and climate change massively intensified this fire, making it deadlier than it otherwise would have been, because a lot of ppl will read this story and assume it means climate played no role

Community groups come to South Coast AQMD and spoke truth, stated the facts, and even had visuals for the SCAQMD Board. The message is simple, we need stronger action to reduce port pollution, not just plans. Onward.

California cities including Menlo Park, Palo Alto, and Sunnyvale have adopted smart new policies to encourage 2-Way AC upgrades when air conditioners break, resulting in Lower bills and reduced climate pollution.

Los Angeles cities should do this too!

Just 15 more days left to qualify for a used or new EV tax credit, and about 100 days to qualify for all the rest: heat pumps for heating and cooling, solar panels, heat pump water heaters, home insulation, efficient windows, energy audits, etc.!
