More lies and idiocy from Trump about wind energy. China is investing heavily in wind because it is cheap and efficient. Hearing him bloviate on the world stage about these things is so embarrassing.
“China’s total wind generation capacity is 561 GW, which is more than three times more than the United States who comes in second behind China, and 48% of the world’s share of wind power generation.” 🔌💡

This coal plant was WA's single largest climate polluter. Elected leaders, community advocates and industry negotiated for years to shut it down—protecting the environment, assisting displaced workers, and enabling the state's transition to clean energy. Then Trump butted in.

Our increasing appetite for big data means more big data centers—with implications for energy use and energy costs. Let's make sure ordinary electricity users aren't stuck with outsized bills, and let's invest in transmission capacity to supply clean power where it's needed.
