Pinned
Pinning some guides and ideas on ttrpg topics, that I consider to be my greatest expertise:
Dungeon architecture, Improvisation and tipps&tricks to make improvisation easier.
was my first abzan commander, still like to play the abzan themed deck. Doesnt matter that it didtn keep up with the power creep - just the annoyed yearning when you sentence ALL creatures to exile after death is enough to make me happy.
nr3
-Mushrooms, bonus for asexual reproduction, its another kind of funny if one character thats CANNOT get any corny jokes, hilarious stuff, and opens up so many more angles to view the world and observe character interaction. communication with spores and pheromones +extreme variety on bodyforms
nr2
-Bird People, fully able to fly, as little human features as possible, Brittle Bones! makes for way more interesting angle to solve situations. my fav example are Aven from Mtg.
i mean how fuckin cool is an Aven headhunter archer fledging their arrows with their own feathers.
nr1
-Wood Elves, preferable a feral kind, (not the basic high fantasy aloof elf, but in woods) bonuspoints when they can talk with plants. Braids made from mud/blood/sap ,root pattern tattoos, mild mutations favoring arboreal lifestyle, like small membranes under the arms for easier falling/flying
3/3...to walk inside the tomb and desecrate the shrine to reach it...maaaybe is illegal, but they are not even sure that its neccesary...anyway, half pay now, half pay later"
2/3 -They seem straight, but are VERY willing to hire external forces, off the books to get this artifact "they don't know where it is, and wont ask, to have it is not illegal, to want it is not illegal...
1/3
the boring answer:
The Players themselves, each and every one of them IF you bait with the correct piece of attraction.

the not so boring answer:
The mages guild, which is a mix of a medium priced, part state funded academy and host for magical mercenarys.
any regular ass house/tower

Hallway
- Kitchen / Pantry
- Dining Room / Lounge
- CraftsRoom / Study
- Bedroom
qeue a gif of two wh40k spacemarine cosplaying the El Dorado scene -
it is possible - immensly costly and only works for very short timings

its part of a pretty basic magic school
its like a 360° camera looking through drunk goggles
and its always connected to a core motivation, the caster has to "ask" something, like "how will the wine smell if i open the bottle"
could be insane for flicker - so what if it leaves the game - thats what it wanted anyway
signed, solely on the widest culinary range, not even a real battle - we should carve those lines up to make it more interesting.
reminds me of the story Hellsreach from wh40k.
f'ed up situation, endless orcs running over the city, Marines show up and dissappear cause its a lost cause.
some years after the siege a marine sees a guardsman from the siege.
M"glad you survived, how are you?"
G"i had a headache, but it went away."
hands on recherche = beste recherche
this reminds me of the silly scepter designs :D
i mean i get the importance and the meaningfull weight it carries, but...
bro
you gave your rod a hat
and you wear the same hat
makes me think of the rulers as some weird pet enthusiast, that wants their tiny friend stick to be in partner look
If a god tells the Party
*with a mysterious smirk
"there can be a sacrifice you are not prepared for if you refuse"

and they die without any chance of save, then its just a dick move :D
I think the more a PC's death is scripted, the more it needed a very clear and not subtle forshadowing.

If a god tells the Party
"One of you will die, if you don't use my Gemstone"
then its totally fine to finish them off.
i think hero should have an inherent ability like the earlier wall concepts with defender.

every hero counts as legendary for all things considered besides legendary rules.

i know this would be old and sluggish in terms of design but id love it :D
dmg reduction for sure
reducing hit chance is way easier in the rules handlung but often times not as balanced and lesser room to actually feel gear progress.
no better way if you have to get shit actually done
Yes, i do love the absurd, disgusting, yet so "logical" way of biopunk.
Soilent green = you need nutrients to make a human
... a human kinda has all these nutrients inside them...
Pickle Rick = in need of a tendon, rats have tendons...

just a very adjacent step thinkingwise, makes sense sadly(?) ^^
And in the videogame Divinity2 there is a casting class which uses Polymorph magic, basically shorthand bodypart Transformation for certain tasks, could be another source for inspiration. - they have a very good wiki to check out
For the looks and feels you can check out series "love death and robots" on netflix, the episode "sonnies edge" features kind of bio mechs.
But pls take this additional CW beforehand, there are potential trigger topics in the story.
