Another impressive-looking game on Kickstarter, again with an excellent trailer: Bel's Fanfare. A very Ghibli-styled action adventure from a Spanish studio. I only stumbled upon this one through random browsing on Steam!

i think a lost art of especially pixel art era games (but early polygon games also) is when the key art on boxart, official renders and sometimes in-game larger portraits lack details you can only see on a character's very abstracted sprites. so u have to fill in blanks between 2 reference-points

took way longer than it shoudlve but heres yuri otani from alien9 !!! ! ! it was very brutal and honest and i really liked it,, the era it came out in is special to me too so im so happy smth as poignant exists (◕﹏︿﹏◕)

don't know how to describe it but monster hunter stories 3's budget feels nice, but it also looks the exact same as genshin impact to me. like they are stealing those rendering tricks from gacha/mobile hard

I think some people saw the zero tolerance "I don't want to see you playing this" boycotts for Hogwarts Legacy and got the idea that you should be pushy over any media where the creator is stupid, and not just in situations where supporting the product causes quantifiable harm
