It is disgusting that Trump’s hateful words of calling Somali Americans “garbage” have continued to go unchecked by members of the Republican Party.

These are US citizens he is denigrating.

We have a duty as Americans to call out his hateful rhetoric.

Imagine calling a decent person stupid or the R-word and getting cheered for it because “at least they’re being honest.” That is MAGA.

What is wrong with these people? Who raised you?

I think this is a piece that’s worthy of consideration by educators across the full K-post-secondary spectrum. It’s my experience that the nature of this current cultural moment in the U.S. is almost forcing kids to ask the questions that the humanities grapple with. And the job market demands it.
"While other universities report that the humanities are shrinking, at Berkeley, the opposite is true. The music major is the fastest-growing major on campus. We are finding bigger classrooms because film is exploding. English is back to the numbers we saw 15 years ago. We are hiring" bit.ly/4ohKuOe

I love this so much.
I would like to share something.

A year ago, Trump won and I was furious and scared so I sent a text to a few of local women I knew and asked them to join me at a meeting and invite like-minded women they knew. A few showed up, then a few more. We became a group called The Salon and we meet monthly
