And don't ever pull "well they say the same thing" because yeah. They do. And I make a point of not fucking agreeing with them on these things because "you deserve to lose your human rights due to your voting choices" is not something a real liberal/progressive says. It's something Trump says.

Like I just cannot stress enough people saying "well if they wanted [xyz human right] they shouldn't have voted for [politician I don't like]" disgust me to my very core no matter which party they claim to be part of. Your human rights cannot be contingent on who you voted for. I don't have a lot of nice things to say about Trump voters to say the least, but there is no political belief that means you no longer deserve to eat or have a place to sleep or to take care of your family. Human rights are for everyone.

I just don't think people who claim to be against Trump going around screaming about punishing dem voters should be saying the exact same shit he's saying. Punishment for your political views in the form of starvation and denial of aid is not what progressive should ever stand for.

In the one where Bonney learns she can command the Pacifistas it happens while she and some other characters are falling to earth and just that, just her being told that she can do that while falling, is, and I shit you not, NINTEY FUCKING % of the episode's runtime. Nothing else happens. It HURTS.

-that it's an interesting idea executed in the worst possible way. Literally the average episode adapts like four pages of the manga. DBZ and Naruto deserve an apology for the pacing jokes they were nowhere near as bad as Dr. Vegapunk starting a sentence FIVE TIMES in one ep before finishing.

I read all of One Piece, I'm up to date, and I've been watching the current arc on and off because it has some great moments, but oh my god. If you came away from this anime thinking One Piece is good I just. How. If this was the only way I'd expirienced the story I'd think-
