I finished Doll's Nest, really pleasantly surprised by how good it was! For such a small team it's incredibly impressive how well they managed to execute "what if armored core was a souls game".
Biggest thing for me was hearing Mitose Noriko in the soundtrack! Shame there's only music in bosses :)

the sewer drain for my block is blocked so i called the city to get it fixed
and now there's like 3 police cars and a fire engine outside, the whole street's taped up like a crime scene, and my drain's still blocked :/
my kitchen is flooding every time someone upstairs washes their hands 😭 save me

it's crazy that i post this and the next day it gets even worse ahahahaha
only finding out more of my rights are being revoked because i ran headfirst into a brand new issue firsthand, because i tried to disconnect, and having that lead to MORE problems, is not how i had hoped it would go

I think GDScript is a great scripting language but trying to design user-facing interfaces (and using those interfaces - see trying to interact with non-GDExtension plugins) is really hard to do intuitively
this screenshot is an extremely edge-case edge case but it's one that needs to be handled...

today i learned how to use Ghidra to decompile switch games (to patch a WiiU->Switch game to run at 60fps)
so far i only figured out how to change the vsync to 60 instead of 30, but the WiiU version had some extra fixes for animation speeds etc. which i'll need to hunt down the addresses for

if i wanted to make something that *looked* like a terminal user interface in godot, what would be the best way?
A) make some neat UI nodes that are easily styled and look all retro and console-y
B) emulate a whole terminal in godot, and write the ui in ncurses
