Absolutely dreadful. Harmful to American universities, the students themselves, the other students who will be negatively affected by the loss, and everyone in American society who benefits from these students’ contributions to culture and the economy.
Review etiquette question: When hard-rejecting a manuscript, I typically check "no" when asked if I will review subsequent revisions.
My reasoning is that if I think a study isn't salvageable, my recommendation won't change with a future revision.
Is this rude? Does it make editors curse my name?
