I gotta be real, I did not suspect we would reach "roving mobs of white folks chanting "shame" at ICE" within 9 months, and it really feels like a sign of how much more horrifying it must be on the ground than those of us not there can even imagine.

If Trump's impoundments are allowed to stand, then the next Democratic President should impound funds meant for red states until they redistrict in a race-neutral way.

So, a Democratic president should withhold funds from all red states until they end political gerrymandering.
If Trump is openly planning to withhold federal funds from New York over anti-Zohran politics, at what point do New Yorkers — who put in far more than they take out — get to stop paying federal taxes?
