Hello, Bluesky! I was the final Splatoon player on the Nintendo Network, surviving 68 days after Nintendo turned the servers off.
Using Twitter, I documented my time as the final player in an online game, but now I’m excited to start all over here!

Huge fan of how these karts look! This is far from the first Mario Kart plush set, but the first with the characters in their cars in over 30 years. They did a really nice job at translating these to plush form whilst retailing all the details from the kart model.

I also have the Japanese DVD of Phase One - Celebrity Takedown which also contains these videos, but there’s no way I’m passing something this cool up. Notably, Tomorrow Comes Today is a lot smoother and squished into 4:3 because the US hadn’t quite figured out analogue widescreen yet.

Recently picked up this promotional VHS tape containing the Tomorrow Comes Today and Clint Eastwood music videos. Pretty much America’s first introduction to the world of Gorillaz. It’s always so weird seeing more modern animation on VHS since most of my library is from the early nineties.

The Q-Mann was in the inner chambers of Congress, peeking around a flower pot at the proceedings that Washington claimed would change the face of Industry forever. While the big guns of gaming strapped on their bulletproof vests, and fired first with an answer to the Washington white shirt's Q'8, yours truly found out the real reasons behind the brohaha.. 10. Cong. Kohl was upset after not being able to find his copy of Madonna's SEX. 9. Lieberman couldn't find Night Trap for his grandson, so he wants it banned. 8. Both congressmen were jealous that they couldn't package their BS as well as Konami boxed Lethel [sic] Enforcer. 7. The government really wants to force all games to also be made specifically for girls - of course Rama 1/2 would be exempt. 6. Kohl just hates to see game characters sweat. 5. Oh shit, I’ve got some 2016s somewhere in storage. Actually waiting on some 2032s for the other games, so I might replace this one in the meantime. Had no idea they could even fit a battery in the thin cartridges honestly.

But I think my most recent is The New Tetris for N64, which was one of my favorite games of all time and one I had some crazy impressive scores on, so that made me sad. SimCity SNES got wiped recently, but it’s still holding my current saves so we’re good.
