A regret that I carry is spending decades telling myself that my art's mediocre. I thought I was pushing to improve but I was just beating myself down. I've produced and improved more since acquiring a gentle touch in my process, embracing my own art, skills, and limitations. Better late than never.

I started on my next blog article and it's so fun! It's a balancing act combining philosophy with practice, entertainment with edification. It's also great practice for me to organize my thoughts on subjects that I care about while I learn to write better.

Every year I have to suffer thru boring-ass workplace harassment training. I've had to suffer managers telling gay jokes right in front of me & calling us disgusting, coworkers talking about how they loved raiding gay bars to bash us into a bloody pulp. I know what harassment is, I should be exempt.

FortiGuard web filter classifies my blog as a porn site with "strong confidence of malicious intent". Maybe it's because I used the word 'gay' once? Profound apologies to the world for being gay and existing.

my sabbatical is wrapping up. i spent the last 3mo doing whatever I want. i'm feeling more confident about my art. converging on a 'sona design that I like. learned how to make crazy good fried chicken. made some new friends. life is good.
