My sister received an email from her Superintendent yesterday. (Sent to all) He reminded everyone that as "professional educators, we are held to a different standard." Their behavior should reflect "postively" on the schools - both in the classroom and (outside) when interacting with the community.

I finally saw the Pacific Ocean! As we got closer I could smell it! 😁 Really enjoyed staying at the Lucia Lodge (it is open despite Google Maps)

Sequoiadendron giganteum - oh my they are gigantic! First time walking amongst the giants 🥰 - It was gut wrenching to see the scars from the '21 KNP complex fire - large swaths of mountain sides just gone 😔

The curvy road (switchbacks and hairpin corners) down to King's Canyon - No way this Michigan driver is getting close to the 50 mph (except corners) speed limit - pulling over for everyone 😁 - not that much traffic
