Another superb CARDIO session for £120m Florian Wirtz yesterday I thought. Zero goals or assists in 11 Premier Lge games - one can only imagine how this would be analysed by the press pack, had he signed for a team in a blue shirt rather than a red one

I see the "new Peter Schmeichel" let another 2 in today - currently averaging 2 conceded per match. Dont let that ruin the narrative mind.

Pollution from Ineos’s Antwerp plastic plant ‘will cause more deaths than jobs created’
Lawyers challenge €4bn Project One development, saying emissions and health impacts vastly underestimated
The deaths from pollution caused by Europe’s biggest plastic plant, which is being built in Antwerp, will outstrip the number of permanent jobs it will create, lawyers will argue in a court challenge issued on Thursday.
In documents submitted to the court, research suggests the air pollution from Ineos’s €4bn petrochemical plant would cause 410 deaths once operational, compared with the 300 permanent jobs the company says will be created. Continue reading...

Farage has been consistent for 15+ years.
Opposing decent pay and conditions for ordinary hard-working young people and expectant parents.
Meanwhile, he makes a mint hawking bullion, presenting tv shows and flying to the USA to big up his interests - instead of serving his constituents.

Sean will of course have sized up the role, and decided it's best played in the style of a bloke from Sheffield.

It ticks every box you could wish for in your olde worlde trash: Sean Bean as the Sheriff of Nottingham, faerie smut … and not a bad wig in sight! Hurrah!

An entire fanbase could've pointed out that #mcfc team selection was
laughably bad, but here we are at half-time lucky to only be 1 down.

You may be old enough to remember how Harry Enfield & Paul Whitehouse lampooned 'old style' Radio 1 DJs, eventually leading to a big clearout.
We need a big clearout of all 'big name' journalists like Peston, Kuenssberg, Mason, Trevor Phillips (where did that one come from?) Ridge (and that?)

Will take that result. Need Gonzalez fit on Sunday as we looked noticeably vulnerable when he went off. As an aside what an absolute clown & "look at me" merchant that ref was - 10 yellow cards in a game without a single really bad challenge. Ridiculous #mcfc
