Baldwin: Our farmers are facing incredible headwinds. A lot of the fertilizer inputs come from Canada. Those have shot up because of tariffs. About a quarter of all farmers use the ACA for their health care coverage. This president is just contributing to the headwinds that our farmers are facing.

Police don’t have to arrest ICE agents. They have many alternatives. 1) decline to assist ICE, 2) decline to hinder anti-ICE protesters, 3) shield anti-ICE protesters from ICE, 4) warn neighborhoods ahead of ICE raids, 3) ticket ICE vehicles for illegal, driving, stopping, standing or parking.

So far as I can tell, nobody who's been critical of Pritzker on this point has a contingency plan if he tells the Illinois State Police to start arresting ICE agents and they tell him "No, and actually, it seems to us a better idea to arrest you."
