I was in Target and they were playing a Christmas song over the speakers that was so incredibly obnoxious I actually wanted to scream “stop playing that turn it off you assholes” right there in the store. It was so bad, but now it really bugs me that I cannot identify the song/artist.

Yes! Thank you! The real story here is that the POTUS is giving our military officers illegal orders to murder people, and they are having to navigate that.
Oddly enough, in media coverage of Dems' video warning against carrying out illegal orders, there's very little discussion of *whether it's actually reasonable to fear Trump is giving illegal commands or not.*

Those Congress ppl that made the PSA about disobeying illegal orders need to make another video doubling down on their message, immediately. Something like: “if the president issues illegal order, you have an obligation to disobey. You swore an oath to the Constitution, not to the president.”

If we had an impartial press, major news orgs would be running headlines like “How many people does trump want to kill?” And then do a fact based investigation on extrajudicial killings, death penalty tweets and his general idea that he can kill anyone he labels a terrorist. How many ppl is that?

Trump is telling on himself here. This is not a hypothetical situation. The military is already refusing to follow his illegal orders and he is big mad.
For over 300 years now, it is a bedrock principle in Anglo-American constitutionalism that obedience is owed according only to law. Refusal to follow an illegal command is not only a moral choice but an absolute duty.
