So…I thought United would beat Everton especially after they had a player sent off. We lost.

So, De Zerbi has stated THAT player has paid a ‘high price’.
1) THAT player has not paid any price at all. He’s been allowed to continue his career freely.
2) De Zerbi is very questionable if that’s the opinion he holds of THAT player.
3) The survivor is an afterthought.

Outperformed, outcoached, United deserved absolutely nothing out of that game.
The most damning thing about that half is that Everton, who have lost a man through injury and are a player down, look very comfortable
