Insightful. Toxic masculinity creates followers: sheep who think they are wolves.
The fascist patriarchal narrative doesn't just legitimise abuses of power on the part of the ‘father’; it also infantilises his followers. They can leave politics to the head of the household.

Any serious person who knew anything about Gaza knew that the official Gaza Health Ministry death toll was an undercount.
We also know (beyond doubt) that the overwhelming majority were civilians.
Common sense, a bit of knowledge+analytical skills, and not being racist, get you there.

I cannot tell you how much doubt was consistently directed at the Gaza Health Ministry’s casualty numbers and how much pressure was put on news organizations to couch those numbers as unreliable.
