Okay, so we all know that starting affinity groups is one of the most immediate & effective things we can do to counter the terror of capitalism & the current global regimes etc. But starting one is just - How? How on earth? So I decided to create a tarot reading to try & help. etsy.me/3GJu8Ot
I'm confused. Did Andrew Cunanan murder Gianni Versace?

How in the heck has it been almost 20 years since I wrote this #book?!? Well I just started a bluesky account for the topic, so please post your lawns-to-gardens stories and I will repost everything with the #foodnotlawns hashtag! 🌱

The kids are the ones that usually use this hammock hanging from the ceiling of our living room. But the last four nights I’ve read up here for an hour after dinner. Worm bin out of an old wooden nightstand! Cool idea! Dreaming about worm days ahead:) #foodnotlawns by H.C. Flores

I haven't been able to test this out myself yet, but I've heard from maaaaany people that marigolds, lacewings, & ladybugs are the best way to get rid of aphids & other pests. Ladybugs and lacewings eat aphids & are attracted to marigolds. If you lure some in (or buy some) it SHOULD really help!
growing greens in the past, I was a sad aphid farmer. But a friend gave me this giant collard (and kales) so I’m having another go. My rhubarb has been chock full of aphids on and off for years & I just let her be.

#foodnotlawns doesn't even have to be a formal garden. Spring brings all these plants growing wild in my yard for salads — and of course I dry them for tea!
